Tense situation in Vishwanath’s Baghmari tea garden to provide less bonus, the director was surrounded by a long worker

Vishwanath’s Baghmari tea garden is hot lying around the bonus. The garden is the factory where the workers surround it. Every year bonus is given in the garden before Kalipuja but this time the bonus is not taken by the labourer. The worker refused to accept it for giving less bonus

According to the rules, 20 per cent bonus should be given but the workers get angry over the small bonus. Angry workers surround the director in the office and create a stir in the environment. The situation became so tense that police and half the military had to be deployed in the garden

On the other hand, before issuing bonus, notices are issued every year but arrangements were made to give bones without notice this afternoon. Tea workers have been accused of deducting Rs 1500 from bonus by the government to each family during the lockdown due to the terrible environment of Covid
