5 Constituency Bye-Election Results: Fate of 31 Candidates to be decided

The results of by-elections to 5 constituencies in the state will be announced today. The results of Thaora, Mariani constituencies will be announced as important constituencies of Ujjain. In addition, the results of the lower tamualpur, Bhawanipur and Gosaigaon constituencies will also be announced today

The concerned officers and staff are already ready for counting of votes. Counting of votes will begin at 8 am. A total of 31 candidates appeared in by-elections in 5 constituencies. Strict security arrangements have been made to ensure that no untoward situation is created at the counting centres through the district administration and the government. Security arrangements have been made at the counting site

The number of counting tables in each counting centre is 7. There are 141 counting observers, 150 counting assistants, 140 micro observers in 5 constituencies for counting of votes. There are a total of 18 halls, 98 tables for counting. 5 returning officers, 28 assistant returning officers have been entrusted with the responsibility of counting by-election votes.
