Aimi Barua’s dimasa film ‘Sekhhar’ selected for Indian Penorama

Four films from Assam have been selected for the 52nd International Film Festival of Indian Penorama to be held in Goa. The Aimi Baruadirectory Dimasa film Iskhar has been selected
Vishal P Chaliha directorial Bado Film Shijou, Kishore Kalita directed Assamese film Veerangana. All the three films have been selected in feature films Shitan while non-feature films have been selected in Shitan. Biswajit Bora directorial missing film Bumba Ride

The International Film Festival of India has already officially announced the names of the selected films for Indian Penorama. the IFFI will be held in Goa from November 20 to 28 in collaboration with the Indian governments of Directorate of Film Festivals of India, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India and Goa

It may be noted that out of 221 feature films, 25 feature films have been selected IFFI. Dimasa film of The Feature section directed by Aimi Baruah will be launched with the IFFIৰ of feature section. Out of 203 films in its non-feature section, 20 films have been selected. Which includes the Missing film Bumba Ride directed by Biswajit Bora

Another notable thing is that the seven-member jury of non-feature films has been featured in the comedy filmmaker, senior journalist Shivnu Bora and film critic Subrata Jyoti Neog.
