Team India’s outgoing coach Ravi Shastri is likely to be seen as coach in the IPL this time. Shastri is set to step down as coach of the Indian team after the ICT20 World Cup. New team Ahmedabad has offered coaches. Bharat Arun and R Sridhar in the indian team’s coaching staff along with Shastri are also reported to have offered bowling coaches and fielding coaches.
It may be recalled that the contract period of Shastri as well as Bharat Arun and R Sridhar will end after the T20 World Cup. BCCI has already appointed India’s one-time great batsman Rahul Dravid as team India head coach in place of Shastri. Ravi Shastri is said to be considering taking over the responsibility of training in the IPL only after the conclusion of the T20 World Cup. It may be noted that bcci has recently launched two new ones in the IPL. The team has been announced.
