Killer injured in police firing in Margherita, shot dead as he tries to escape police custody.

Police firing in Margherita, Tinsukia. Police shoot rahul das’s killer Vikram Das. Killer Vikram Das tried to escape from police custody. Vikram Das was shot in the left leg. The man who is currently undergoing treatment at Assam Medical College Hospital in Dibrugarh.

It may be recalled that Vikram Das had killed his wife’s brother’s son Rahul Das after a fight for family reasons. Vikram Das was arrested by the police soon after the murder.

Accused Vikram Das, who was injured in police firing, was admitted to Tinsukia Civil Hospital and treated. Dibrugarh was later sent to Assam Medical College Hospital.
