Joseph Marake finally succumbs to death.
The labourer lost both his legs when he was hit by Rajkanya’ car driving drunk.
He breathed his last at the GMC on Wednesday morning.
Marak had been undergoing treatment at GMCH since October 1.
He was taken over by the government in the midst of voluntary organisations and humanitarian, well wishers running for artificial leg transplants.
But to everyone’s disappointment, the man from the Assam-Meghalaya border area eventually lost his life at the GMC
