Indian Cricket Control Board president and former Team India captain Sourav Ganguly has been appointed chairman of the ICC Men’s Cricket Committee, world cricket’s highest body. Former Team India star spinner Anil Kumble Ganguly was appointed in the venue in an ICC statement on Wednesday. The legendary spinner of the Indian cricket team stepped down as icc chairman after his three-year tenure ended.
It may be recalled that Kumble was appointed chairman of the ICC Cricket Committee in 2012 in place of former West Indies star Clive Lloyd. Kumble was then appointed chairman of the World Cricket Association again in 2016.
