Truck-dumper collides in Mangaldai: One hospitalized in critical condition

A fatal accident took place at Vebarghat in Mangaldai on Friday morning. A head-on collision took place between Guwahati Mukhi Truck number AS25 EC 0353 and Tezpur bound dumper of AS25 EC 4697. The driver of the dumper was seriously injured in the accident on National Highway Fifteen. He was taken to Mangaldai Civil Hospital in a critical condition.

The accident caused traffic jams for some time as National Highway 15 was completely closed but Mangaldai Sadar police were able to open the national highway quickly.
