Attempt to join ULFA Independent: 3 youths in Assam Rifles on Myanmar border

Three youths from Assam who went to join ULFA Swatantra have fallen into the trap of Assam Rifles. Assam Rifles has arrested three youths on the Myanmar border in Nagaland. Assam Rifles jawans arrested three youths in suspicious condition from an abandoned house in the middle of the jungle in the international border area of Man district of Nagaland.Vikas Deka of Odalguri, BTC, Arindam Bara of Azarguri in Jorhat and Himanta Neog of Shadia in Tinsukia. Three youths have been kept at a camp in Nagaland, Assam Rifles. Three youths were arrested by assam police during the day on Monday. Some youths from Assam have received information about Assam leaving assam to join alpha independent. As a result Assam Rifles has kept myanmar border under surveillance. ULFA Swatantra has been frequently engaged with some youths. Assam Rifles is also reported to intensify operations along the Myanmar and Nagaland border in search of youth. A total of seven people including Assam Rifle colonel, wife and children were killed in a deadly ambush of terrorists in assam rifles convoy in Chudasandpur district bordering Indo-Myanmar in Manipur on November 13. 46 Assam Rifles Commanding Officer Colonel Biplab Tripathi, wife Anuja Tripathi and six-year-old son Abir Tripathi were killed. Four other Assam Rifles jawans suman swargiyari, khatne kanya, RP Meena and Shyamal Das were martyred in the ambush. The assam rifles are the best against the rebels after that.
