Fatal accident on bridge in Koliyabhomora

Fatal accident on bridge at Koliavomora. The vehicle fell into the Brahmaputra river after being killed on a bridge railing. Police suspect the accident in the early hours of the morning.

SDRF forces are currently continuing rescue operations but have not been able to trace the passengers in the vehicle.

Police suspect that a vehicle has crashed after seeing the railing of the bridge breaking in the morning. On the other hand there have been several accidents on the Koliavomora bridge in the past as well. Even then there is no proper lighting or street line provision on the bridge.
