The fire engulfed a family in Garaimari

A family was badly damaged in a devastating fire in the middle of Garaimari police station in Kamrup district on Monday afternoon. A devastating fire reportedly broke out at Lalsan Ali’s house in Lalsan Ali village in The Middle of Garaimari on Monday afternoon and consumed necessary documents, paddy, rice fire along with one of the family’s residences.

Meanwhile, lalsan ali’s cash and property worth over Rs 2 lakh were burnt in the fire. People suspect that the fire was caused by an electric short circuit. However, the local people were able to douse the fire at the promptness of the local people. Later a police team from Garaimari reached the spot and took stock of the situation.
