2 girls rescued from train in Rangia: 2 suspects arrested

Two young girls were rescued from the clutches of human suppliers in a passenger express. The two girls were rescued from the clutches of human traffickers by patrolling RPF at Nalbari station. It also detained a woman and a youth on suspicion of involvement in human trafficking. The houses of the two rescued girls are in Dalgaon under Darang district.

The two arrested suspects are Asgar Ansari of Papakur in Jharkhand and Sufia Ansari of Besimari in Darang district. The two trafficking girls were rescued by rpf on Guwahati-Tamburam Express as they were about to take them to work in a Kerala company. All the rescued including the suppliers were later handed over to GRP police station in Rangiya.

It may be recalled that the youth of the Assam family have been sold to outlying states by human trafficking rackets to take advantage of poverty
