2 suppliers arrested in Lahrighat with old scale drugs
Police operation against drugs continues at Lahrighat in Morigaon district. Police arrested two suppliers including a large quantity of drugs in Lahrighat. The two drug dealers including 36.02 grams of drugs from Barbari village last night are Ijaz Ali and Abjul Hussain of Dimapur. The two drug dealers brought the drugs in soap boxes.
The drug mafia has accused the police who went to detain them on the basis of intelligence inputs. Two constables including Laharighat police station in-charge Adit Boro were injured in the drug mafia bite attack. It may be recalled that the seized drugs were brought from Dimapur. The two drug traffickers arrested today were sent to jail.
