In Assam, 214 people have been again diagnosed with covid positive.
Of these, 123 are from Kamrup Metro, 12 from Kamrup rural, 11 from Jorhat and 9 from Sonitpur.
There are still 1596 patients undergoing treatment in the state after suffering from corona.
It may be recalled that 245 people recovered in the state on Wednesday.
On the other hand, two people suffering from corona died in the state on the same day.
