Meghalaya girl arrested on suspicion of murdering Majuli youth Sandeep Bhuyan

Police investigation has revealed nine facts in the case of murder of Sandeep Bhuyan, a youth from Garhmur in Majuli. Police have launched an investigation on the basis of a case registered at Paltan Bazar police station after police suspected it to be a murder after the blood-soaked body of Sandeep, who worked in a private institution in Guwahati, was found in a drain in Barnihat, Meghalaya.

A young woman who had an affair with Sandeep from Meghalaya for two years was arrested by paltan bazar police yesterday evening on suspicion of being involved in the incident. The girl who was detained at Paltan Bazar police station last night was handed over to The Barnihat police after being interrogated by the police. The girl was recently reportedly being interrogated by The Barnihat police.
