Thousands of students take to streets to protest against new education policy…

Thousands of NSUI students briefly protested on the streets against the new education policy in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. There was a heated exchange between the protesters and the police during the implementation of the protest programme. Thousands of protesters from different parts of the state who came to participate in the protest marched on the road to cordon off the residence of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouha.

NSUI said that students from 52 districts of the state are participating in the protest. There are also NSUI national president Neeraj Kundan, PCC chief Kamal Nath, former minister PC Sharma, Latna Ghanghoria, MLA Krunal Chaudhary, Bipin Bankhede and party youth leader Vivek Tripathi.

All protesters and students gathered at the Congress office at Link Road-1 in Bhopal around 1am. And from there the protest rally was held towards the chief minister’s residence in Shyamala Hills, 5 km from there. But police arrived outside the office disrupting their rally.
