Barjhar airport will be open for 24 hours; New service called ‘Pranam’ launched

Work on the international airport at Barjharshit popular Gopinath Barad in Guwahati will continue for 24 hours. GIAL, the new governing body of the international airport to popular Gopinath Barad, said that the number of flights and the growth rate of air passengers after the period of the period has increased in an encouraging manner but is also showing signs of a strong growth in the near future.

As per the inspection of the airroom’s covid control room, the rate of covid free has increased significantly in the last November for passengers. According to data released in November, the number of flights has increased to 87 per cent as compared to pre-covid period and 60 per cent for passengers.

It may be recalled that the growth rate during Durga Puja was 78 per cent. In line with the increase in passenger numbers, airport management GIAL has informed that the operating time-frame of Guwahati airport will be open every day during the week since last month. In addition to the facilities required for flights for the convenience of passengers, government services, terminal services, air fuel services, safety and other goods shops, food and drink etc. will be available to passengers 24 hours a day. In addition, the Airport Management Company has also added a new service called ‘Pranam’ for the special convenience of airroom passengers.
