Cheating couple falls into city police trap by collecting crores of rupees from unemployed youth lured by job in health department. According to Parthasarathy Mahanta, joint commissioner of police, city police, the cheating couple collected between Rs 20-50,000 and Rs 2.5 lakh from hundreds of unemployed youths in the name of appointing them to various posts including senior health department assistants, ganiks.

Police at Gadsuk police station had been in civil uniform in front of Hotel Parshuram since friday after chasing a secret source obtained by the city police. The cheating couple on the fourth floor of the hotel, Gadsuk police raided while the youth and parents who were looking for jobs were discussing. In the police operation, the fraudsters seized many fake documents of appointment in the health department from the couple. A team of senior police officers reached the spot and the cheating couple as well as the youth who came to the health department to recruit and Parents interrogated. The joint commissioner of police also clarified that the couple arrested under police interrogation had collected crores of rupees from hundreds of people in the name of providing jobs in the health department. Police at Garhsuk police station have recently arrested the arrested couple and two accomplices and continued to interrogate them. The conference was held by cheating couples at Parshuram Hotel in Garhsuk since yesterday. Today 40 young men and parents came to this conference. It may be noted that the cheating couple visited Hotel Parshuram in the first week of this month. The first meeting was held to lure unemployed youth and parents to appoint unemployed youth and parents to various posts in the health department. For the last seven months, the cheating couple had been collecting money from unemployed youth from different parts of the state in the name of recruitment to the health department.
