This drone footage of a collapsing Iceland volcano crater is stunning. Viral video

video of the volcano, shared on Twitter by Good News Correspondent, will leave you awe-struck. The footage, originally captured from a drone by Hörður Kristleifsson, shows a large chunk of the volcanic crater collapsing. The video is mesmerising as well as hair-raising.

The footage was shot at the volcano in Fagradalsfjall mountain, situated about 40 kms away from the Icelandic capital Reykjavik. It erupted earlier this year in March 19 and left netizens in amazement. Now, the drone footage captured from the top of the volcano shows a chunk of the crater collapsing and it will kind of give you an apocalyptic vibe.

“Icelandic photographer Hörður Kristleifsson happened to be flying his drone over Fagradalsfjall volcanic crater when part of the crater rim collapsed. “That part may look “small”, but it’s actually around the same size of a 5-story building!” read the caption.
