Winter session of Parliament from today: Agriculture Act to be repealed
The winter session of Parliament will begin today. The session will begin with a 25-day programme after the all party meeting is already held. This session is considered particularly important this time. As many as 36 bills are likely to be passed in this session.
Meanwhile another aspect of this session being considered important is that the Centre will have to withdraw three of the proposed agriculture laws in this session. The Prime Minister has announced that the act will be repealed but the formalities of the House will be completed in this session. The reference to repeal ing the Agriculture Act will be raised on the floor of the House on the first day of the session.
