Murder of student leader in Jorhat: Three arrested by police

The killing of asu leader in Jorhat has evoked strong reactions across the state. The student leader was killed by 50 uddas over a minor incident. Police have so far detained three persons in connection with the incident. Police have not disclosed any information regarding the arrested persons. The Jorhat superintendent of police identified every person involved in the incident and said strict action would be taken against them.
