Argentina’s football star Lionel Messi has won the prestigious Ballon de Or award for the seventh time after beating The Super Star Of Argentina, Christiano Ronaldo. The award was presented to the Paris Saint-Germany Super Star at a detention ceremony in Paris on Monday night. Messi, 34, had earlier won the award in 2009, 2009. He received the honour in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2015 and 2019. Messi won the prestigious award with 613 points while Bayern Munich and Polish striker Robert Lewandowski finished second with 580 points. However, Lewondowski won the Year’s Best Striker award. It should be noted that france’s renowned football magazine Ballon de Or has been presenting the award since 1956.
