The ambulance driver didn’t even move forward to take the bodies of “kola lora” home

The ambulance driver refused to take home the body of Neeraj Das, the main accused in the Jorhat case. The culprit who committed the heinous act died after being hit by a police vehicle. Police arranged for the mortal remains of the villain of the barbaric incident to be cremated at Jorhat Medical College Hospital at the end of the autopsy.

But arrangements were made to take his body home by a Tata ACE car after he refused to be taken by an ambulance driver. It may be recalled that the Jorhat Lawyers Association had also decided not to appear before the court on behalf of those involved in the case.
