wo killings took place in Dibrugarh amid the state’s frenzy over the barbaric incident in Jorhat. The bodies of a man and a woman were found in the locked room in the early hours of Tuesday. The deceased has been identified as Sudhir Gogoi and the woman is Kajal Bhumij who is a tenant in his house.

The brutal murder took place at Malkhasa in Dibrugarh Vairagimath. The murder is suspected to have been committed by the woman’s husband. Police reported in the media that the duo was killed by hitting a bread-making tawa.The investigating police officer said this could be clearly stated only at the end of the investigation.


Meanwhile, the deceased woman’s little son has made sensational statements about the murder. Kanamaniti says- My mother has been beaten by papa. The two got into a fight last night. It may be recalled that 60-year-old unmarried Sudhir Gogoi lived alone in the house. Kajal Bhumij’s family came to a part of the house a few days ago.

The two bodies were spotted by Sudhir Gogoi Atni on Tuesday morning when he was not seen and searched. Relatives told the media about the incident that both were brutally killed by the killers. The killer has been killed and left in the kitchen by a bread-making tower. Relatives said the killer committed the murder with his legs tied to his legs and waist.

Relatives in front of the media also said that the woman is suspected to have killed the woman on Sunday night and the man on Monday night. However, the relatives said that all the information will come to light only after postmortem in this regard. A high level police investigating unit is continuing its investigation into the incident. According to initial reports Kajal Bhumij’s husband got into a fight with Sudhir Gogoi on Monday night. Police said all the information will come to light in a day or two.
