Remembering the great hero of Assam history, late Chaolung Sukafa
Today is Assam Day i.e. Late chaolung Sukafa Day. On this occasion, the founder of The State of Ahom in Assam and the builder of Assam, Late Sukafa Vandana, will be presented. Assam history superstar Sukafar is inspired by karmaraji inspiration. Assam Day programme will be observed in sukafa coordination area under the initiative of directorate of Assam government in collaboration with jorhat administration state wise. The event will be held from 11 am.
On the other hand assam pradesh congress committee initiative will celebrate Assam Day at Rajiv Bhawan across Assam as well as Guwahati. The Congress will remember and pay homage to this great hero. The historic Rajamao Pond Protection Committee in Jorhat district has also completed preparations to celebrate Sukafa Day in collaboration with Jorhat municipality.
The Rajamao Pond Protection Committee and the municipality will commemorate late Sukafa on assam day and light up the surroundings of the pond with 5000 gosi bunty. Assam Nationalist Youth Students Council to hold Assam Day programme at the initiative of Sarideo Zilla Samiti and in collaboration with the people of Sarideu. The organisation is celebrating Central Sukafa Day at bhagwatiprasad barua memorial higher secondary school ground in Sonari.
The programme organized by the Nationalist Youth Students’ Council will be attended by leaders of various parties in Assam. On the other hand, popular artists like Zubeen Garg, Manas Robin, Kusum Kailash, Meenakshi Neog will participate in the cultural programme of the event
