Devastating fire in Dhakwakhana, storage destroyed…
A continuous effort by a small farming family to tackle the corona-ravaged rural economy was dashed on Friday. A major fire broke out at a bharun store in Farmer Ramakant Mudai of Krishnapur village of Dimruguri panchayat under Dhakwakhana Sadar police station at night. The fire broke out suddenly in the store at 8.40pm on Friday while the agriculturist Mudai dumped the sweat of his forehead from the shali paddy field.
The sudden fire that broke out at night destroyed all the produce by sani ingtheentire bharun store. The flames subsided at the immediate time of the flames to another store near the area but all the stored paddy along with mudai’s store house was burnt in the flames. Two fire brigade vehicles later went from Dhakwakhana Sadar and doted the fire completely.
The cause of the fire is not known though the fire is feared to have occurred due to a burning lamp or electric shirt for harvesting lakhimi. The farming family is worried about the dark future after this terrible disaster that has suddenly descended on the family of farmer Mudai who dreamt of meeting stomach hunger in the coming days through self-suffering. The residents of the area have demanded one time assistance from the government administration to the unfortunate family.
