Police raid stone pond in Batdrava, rescue large quantity of drugs

The administration has launched a campaign against narcotics across the state. Yet it is as if the administration is not being caressed by some drug mafia. The drug was seized on Tuesday in a raid by a tip-off in South Shilpukuri village under The Baribazar Police Station in Batdrwar under Mikirveta police station.

In the operation, the notorious drug mafia recovered 20 drug-laden soap boxes as well as 680 narcotic tablets as well as 97 empty containers from the house of notorious drug mafia Khazal Uddin. He also arrested notorious drug mafia Khajal Uddin. Police said Khajal Uddin has been consuming jail rice several times in a drug case before. The recovered drugs weigh 269 grams. The market value of the recovered narcotics will be estimated at Rs 10 lakh.
