The vehicle of the farmer who returned home after completing the agitation crashed; Two killed, two injured

A tractor of Punjab farmers on its way back home from Tikri border after ending the farmers’ agitation met with a fatal accident in Hisar in Haryana.

A speeding truck hit a truck of farmers near Dhandur village on National Highway 9 at around 7am on Saturday.

Farmer Sukhwinder, a resident of Sahib in Muktas, Punjab, died on the spot in the accident.

The injured farmers on the other hand were taken to a nearby hospital where another farmer Ajaypreet also died.

According to the information received, after the agitation ended, the farmers of Punjab were going to Punjab via NH-9.

It was when the farmers’ vehicle reached Bagla Road near Dhandur in Hisar that a speeding truck hit their trolley from behind.

The accident was so severe that the trolley fell on to the road after losing control when it was hit by a truck.

Sukhwinder Singh, a 38-year-old farmer from Sahib in Muktas, died in the accident.

Ajaypreet, Goga (62) and Dara Singh (55), who were injured in the accident, were immediately admitted to Chudamani Hospital in Hisar.

Ajaypreet, who was later seriously injured, also died while undergoing treatment.
