if don’t accept the condition, the family of any of the deceased in Nagaland will not accept the government’s financial assistance

Tension continues in Man district of Nagaland. The general public continued to protest against the brutal acts of 14 youths who were victims of the barbaric attacks by the army. The central and state governments had provided financial assistance but the family has not taken this assistance so far recently. On the contrary, the family and protesters have tied the conditions.

They do not accept any government assistance unless the army officers involved in the act are punished properly through investigation and special rights of the Army are dismissed from the area. The decision was taken by villagers in The Oating slum last Sunday. It needs to be noted that 12 of the 14 killed in the incident were from this village.
