It’s a big problem! Banks to remain closed on December 16-17

Public sector banks in the country will remain closed on Thursday and Friday. These two days have been announced by bank employees across the country to go on strike against privatisation of banks. Meanwhile, other banks including State Bank of India have appealed to employees to cancel the strike programme.

The SBI has appealed to Twitter employees to call off the strike. On Twitter, he wrote that the strike could cause a lot of inconvenience to bank customers and shareholders in view of the corona epidemic. SBI has also sent an invitation to bank unions for talks. It may be noted that banks will remain closed even though internet banking services will be open to customers.
