Two main accused arrested for raping and killing teenager in Boko Hatisara

A heinous incident took place on December 12 at Bokor Hatisra in South Kamrup. A youth named Taizuddin of Bamunbari was reportedly accused of forcibly picking up a teenager from Hatisara on Sunday night and raping her by forcibly picking her up on a bike with no parents at home. According to reports the arrested Taizuddin’s family wanted to divert the incident as the teenager died in an accident but did not succeed.

It may be recalled that the body of the teenager was postmortem on Monday but the heat conditions are still continuing. A team led by Boko police station investigating police officer Nanigopal Sarkar was able to arrest the two main accused involved in the heinous incident on the basis of an FIR by the teenager’s family. The main accused arrested are Taizuddin Ali (22), Shahidul Ali (22). The two arrested accused have reportedly already been sent to jail by Boko police on Wednesday.
