3 killed in road accident in Silchar, identity not yet identified

A fatal road accident at Mainagarh on Haflong National Highway in Sils on Sunday night. Three people were killed in head-on collisionbetween dumper and atto.

The situation heats up over the horrific accident. It was then that the agitated people blocked the Haflong highway in Sils.

Police arrived to control the situation. A large police force including Superintendent of Police Ramandeep Kaur who was present at the spot reached and controlled the situation.

Police released the blockade after about five hours by booing the agitated public. The accident death of two passengers. Another passenger was admitted to The Medical College in Silsin in a critical condition but later succumbed to his injuries. The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.
