Foreign Tourist Entered Kaziranga National Park Without Permit

A foreign tourist on Monday allegedly entered an unauthorized area at the Central Range (Kohora) in Kaziranga National Park and Tiger Reserve.

Reportedly, the tourist entered the Kaziranga National Park without obtaining a permit from the competent authority.

As soon as the news spread, the forest department and local police immediately rushed to the spot and rescued the person from a nearby wetland inside the park.

Speaking to media on the same, one of the forest guards asserted that the officials’ concerned informe the villagers about the tourist had entered Kaziranga National Park without obtaining a permit.

”Accordingly, a team rushed to the spot and rescued the person. He was later handed over to Kohora police outpost,” he added.

However, the identity of the foreign tourist is yet to ascertain.
