Parita Das, assistant professor of Rangasahi College in Majuli, was killed in the accident.
Indreshwar Bara of Lakhimpur district was also killed in the incident.
The appointment letter has been issued to the kin of the deceased in the accident as decided by the Cabinet meeting on December 10.
