Vishwanath police shoot injured drug mafia…

Police firing again in Vishwanath. Sujal Bhuyan alias Shiva Bhuyan a drug mafia of Vishwanath Balipukuri was shot dead by the police. Shiva Bhuna was arrested from his home by vishwanath district police on Friday evening for his alleged involvement in the banned drug trade.

According to reports a police team of police raids took shiva bhuna arrested at night to identify those who else belonged to vishwanath and who were involved in the banned drug business. But the arrested Shiva Bhunia misled the police team in the direction of Vishwanath’s petlibari and tried to escape in the dark with dust in the eyes of the police and suddenly jumping out of the car.

Police have asked several arrested Shiva Bhuyan not to flee but the situation arose when Shiva Bhunia took advantage of the darkness and started firing. A police bullet hit the left leg of arrested Shiva Bhuyan. The already arrested Shiva Bhuyan was given first aid at Vishwanath Civil Hospital and sent to Tezpur Medical College for better treatment in the night.
