FIR filed against Dileep for threatening investigation officers in Malayalam actress abduction case
17 Malayalam actress abduction case has taken a new turn. A new case has been registered against Dileep and five others by the Crime Branch of Kerala Police. Reportedly, Dileep and his men allegedly threatened the investigation officials. This comes after director Balachandra Kumar made explosive revelations in connection with the sexual assault case.
NEW CASE AGAINST DILEEP AND FIVE OTHERS
Recently, director Balachandra Kumar made some shocking revelations in the 2017 actress assault case. After he made the statement, several audio clips surfaced. The audio clips reveal that the actor and his team threatened officials who are investigating the case.
Dileep and five men have been booked for conspiring and threatening. The Malayalam actor is the first accused in the case. His brother Anoop and brother-in-law are second (A2) and third (A3) accused, respectively. Babu Chemanganad, Appu and an unidentified person have been named in the FIR.
According to director Balachandra Kumar’s statement, Dileep and his men allegedly tried to endanger the lives of the investigation officials.
ABOUT 2017 MALAYALAM ACTRESS ASSAULT CASE
In 2017, the entire country was shocked when a popular Malayalam actress was abducted and assaulted in a moving car. Malayalam actor Dileep is one of the accused in the case and he was in judicial custody for several weeks.
The case has been going on for five years. On January 5., the Kerala government approached the Supreme Court seeking an extension by six months.
