Woman Killed In Road Accident As Truck Hits Her Scooter In Assam’s Tinsukia District
A woman was killed and her husband was injured in a road accident, when a transportation truck hit their scooter in Assam’s Tinsukia district.
The incident occurred at National Highway 215 near India Club when the woman was riding pillion with her husband on Wednesday.
Both of them were identified as Raju Gurung and his wife Sarita Gurung and they were on the way to Bargolai from Margherita on the scooter.
According to reports, the drive of the truck fled away from the spot after the accident.
Notably, a few days back, a 19-year-old youth too died after his bike collided with a four-wheeler on NH-315 at Margherita.
He was identified as Sumon Dutt and was a resident of Digboi.
