Today is Goddess Saraswati Puja, the presiding goddess of vidya. The worship of Bagdevi will be faced by schools, colleges and universities in the state as well as various educational institutions. The puja ullah has declined somewhat due to coronacentric conditions and damp weather but the high atmosphere has been visible in schools and colleges since morning.
Students will pray for the success of their education life by serving in srisaran of Vidya’s presiding goddess Saraswati. Pujas have been organized by installing idols of Bagdevi by decorating the mandapbeautifully on the premises of schools and colleges. Saraswati Puja is being organized at different places in guwahati city along with other parts of the state.
Saraswati Puja is also being celebrated at the sanmari office of the saadin-daily group. This evening puja is being organized somewhat differently from before due to coronacentric conditions.
