Following extensive excise search, patrolling and raids conducted on Thursday in Ledo, Jagun, 2 No. Rampur Lalla and Toku Pani areas under Lekhpani Police Station, the Margherita Excise circle under supervision of Deputy Superintendent Excise, Prasanta Dutta seized IMFL – 43.26 litres (for sale in Arunachal Pradesh only), IMFL-3.60 BL and Beer -20.25 BL (for sale in Assam only).
Besides, 30 litres of Illicit Distilled Liquor were destroyed by the team. A total of four cases were detected in the raid and one case was registered vide case No. MRG/Ex/2022/38 under section 61(a) of the Assam Excise 2018 (amended).
