Government of Assam has newly constituted the Assam Backward Classes Commission for next 3 years with Santanu Gogoi as the chairperson. Dr. Ranjan Gogoi has been appointed as the vice chairperson of the commission and Ranjana Dutta and Pranab Nath has been appointed as members. Secretary of WPT & BC Department will work in capacity of Member, stated a press release.
