Tipra Motha forms panel to assess party’s performance in Assembly poll

Guwahati: TIPRA Motha Chairman Pradyot Kishore Manikya Debbarma on March 17 appointed a five-person panel to assess the party’s performance in the just-concluded Assembly elections. The team was instructed to deliver a report within two months.

In the most recent election, TIPRA Motha ran 42 candidates and 13 of them received the most votes.

Pradyot has appointed a five-person team, which consists of the party president Bijoy Kumar Hrangkhawl, the chairman of the TTAADC Jagadish Debbarma, the former minister of tribal welfare Mevar Kumar Jamatia, the former MLA Rajeswar Debbarma, and Buddhu Debbarma, to improve performance in the upcoming days.

Moreover, he has instructed them to provide a report outlining how they can continue to grow as a party within the next two months.

“I have appointed a five-member team to evaluate our performance in the recent Assembly elections and submit a report within two months on how we can improve even more in the future as a party. They will be meeting candidates, workers, and people at large and try to find out our strengths and weaknesses so that we can make our party stronger”, Pradyot wrote on Facebook.
