Stolen Vehicle from Meghalaya Recovered By Guwahati Police
Guwahati: The Guwahati Police recovered a vehicle that had been stolen from Fatashil Ambari in Guwahati on Monday in yet another successful operation against vehicle theft.
As per reports, the car AS-01-PC-3897 was heading towards Meghalaya via Khanapara, Assam.
The Guwahati Police began the search operation on Sunday night.
The cops pursued the recovered vehicle all the way to Meghalaya.
Four motorcycle lifters were arrested by the Namsai Police on Sunday in connection with the theft of 26 motorcycles between 2022 and 2023.
The motorcycles were reportedly found in several locations in Arunachal Pradesh.
The twenty-six motorcycles included eleven Bajaj Pulsar, three Royal Enfields, three super splendors, two Yamaha, three Glamour bikes, two Apache bikes, one scooter, and one TVS Rider.
Four two-wheelers were found in Dambuk (Lower Dibang Valley), one in Anini (Dibang Valley), nine in Mudoi (Changlang), and the remaining twelve were found in the Insu/Insa area of Chongkhan police station in Namsai district, according to the Superintendent of Police (SP).
