Guwahati: In a tragic accident, a child has been allegedly killed while four others sustained severe injuries in a head-on collision accident in Jorhat district of Assam on Tuesday evening.
The incident took place at Mariani of the district.
As per reports, the accident occurred where a TATA DI pick up van and an e-rickshaw collided head-on with each other.
The child was killed on the spot, while his mother and three others were grievously injured in the collision.
Following the incident, all the injured were immediately shifted to Jorhat Medical College Hospital (JMCH) for medical attention.
