Six Guwahati Kidnapping & Murder Accused Taken To Forensics
Guwahati: The six accused in the kidnapping and murder of Biswajit Hazarika were taken to a forensic lab in Guwahati on Tuesday.
According to reports, the police escorted them to the forensic lab to get ready for gathering scientific evidence for the case.
They were brought in for voice testing at the forensic lab, and the police will soon submit a chargesheet against the accused.
Biswajit Hazarika was abducted while riding a rickshaw back to his house in the Six Mile area on October 9. Following the incident, Ajay Kalita, the mastermind of the kidnapping and murder case, threw his phone into a drain.
It should be noted that six individuals have been arrested in connection with the kidnapping and murder case. The accused were identified as news portal video editor Debajit Deka, the mastermind Ajay Kalita, Pranab Ranghang, Sanjay Kumar Phagat, Paresh Chetri, and Mayur Nath.
According to reports, miscreants murdered Biswajit Hazarika on October 23.
After a month on November 2, Biswajit’s body was recovered in Nellie area. On February 9, the victim’s parents demanded that the case be looked into and that the suspects in their son’s killing be taken into custody.
On February 13, Guwahati Commissioner of Police Diganta Barah had informed in detail about the incident.
