Guwahati: In a tragic incident, a passenger bus has caught fire in Nalbari of Assam on Wednesday.
The incident occurred when the bus was heading towards Barpeta from Guwahati.
Reports stated that the fire erupted this afternoon when the bus stopped to let passengers off.
The bus was completely destroyed after the fire had spread throughout it in a matter of minutes.
After receiving information about the incident, firefighting professionals arrived at the spot.
However, they managed to douse the blazing inferno after continuous efforts.
The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained as of now.
According to reports, all of the bus’s passengers including the driver and conductor are safe.
