Assam CM Launches Rs 545.19-Crore Projects In Rangia

Guwahati: Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma unveiled a number of initiatives in Rangia on March 26 that will significantly improve the area’s infrastructure.

CM Sarma in Rangia laid the cornerstone for a number of projects totaling Rs 545.19 crore as part of the cabinet’s pledge to invest Rs 10,000 crore for the fiscal year 2023–2024.

The day began with the laying of the cornerstone for a 4-lane link road that would connect Rangia to NH-31 by CM Sarma.

Taking to Twitter, CM Sarma wrote, “Today we are observing “A Day Dedicated to Development”. I am happy to have kickstarted it by inaugurating a 4-lane link road that will connect Rangia to NH-31. Our Govt is committed to invest over ₹10,000 cr in FY 2023-2024 to create world-class infrastructure in Assam”.

After laying the cornerstones, CM Sarma and a number of other party members travelled to Rangia’s Hardutt Biradutt Bhawan to listen PM Modi’s ‘Mann ki Baat’ speech.
