Guwahati: Assam’s Dibrugarh district experienced a severe thunderstorm on Monday night, which caused extensive property damage.
The thunderstorm severely damaged homes and other properties while upsetting daily life in the area.
Electric posts and other large trees were uprooted in various locations.
According to reports, the storm caused an electric post in front of the Assam Medical College and Hospital (AMCH) to uproot and fall on a vehicle. The result was that the car sustained significant damage.
Furthermore, most locations in the district are currently experiencing power outages following the thunderstorm.
