NSCN Cadres in Arunachal Pradesh kill IRBn Jawan In Jailbreak

Guwahati: Two National Socialist Council of Nagaland-Khaplang (NSCN-K) cadres killed a jawan in Arunachal Pradesh after the duo escaped from prison, as per reports emerged on Monday.

The incident was reported in Tirap HQ Khonsa.

The two NSCN cadres have been identified as Roksen Homcha Lowang and Titpu Kitnya.

As per reports, the duo snatched an AK-47 rifle from the deceased and fired upon the jawan.

The deceased jawan was identified as Wangnyam Bosai.

Reportedly, Bosai served as Indian Reserve Battalion (IRBn) constable.

Bosai passed away while travelling to a hospital for advanced treatment in Dibrugarh of Assam.

The NCSN cadre Titpu Kitnya was imprisoned pending trial while Roksen Homcha served his murder conviction.

Meanwhile, Arunachal Pradesh Police spokesperson Rohit Rajbir Singh informed that efforts to trace and nab the escapees have been initiated.
