Guwahati: In a shocking incident, a group of unidentified criminals entered into a house in Guwahati on Monday night and attacked a resident.
The incident occurred in Adinggiri area of Maligaon in Guwahati.
As per reports, at least three unidentified criminals entered into a man’s home named Mridul Deka’s home and tried to stab him with a sharp object.
The criminals forced their way inside Mridul’s home on a scooter, where they stabbed him with a sharp knife.
The criminals who attempted to flee the scene after committing the crime were quickly apprehended by the villagers, who were acting out of conscience.
Later, the residents handed the three attackers to Maligaon’s Goshala Police Station.
It has come to light that the miscreants attacked the victim over a disagreement involving land.
