Coal Thieves in Assam Responsible for Pranjal Moran’s Disappearance

Guwahati: Two people have been taken into custody in relation to the incident, marking a significant development in the investigation into Pranjal Moran’s disappearance. The accused were identified as Roop Chai and Babu Paharia, who were allegedly involved in the burial of Pranjal’s body.

As per reports, the two were arrested at Lidu’s Tirap Colliery, where they were coal thieves. The arrests were made following a police raid conducted under the Director General of Police’s orders. The accused are thought to have played a significant part in the crime and were in charge of disposing of Pranjal’s body.

It was claimed throughout the investigation that Pranjal’s body was missing two fingers, which were allegedly amputated during the funeral pyre. Many people are shocked and in amazement over the claims, which have prompted questions about the crime’s brutality.

13 other illegal coal thieves were previously arrested in the case, which has brought attention to the region’s widespread use of illicit coal mining and theft.
